The X-Mat system is a unique workholding system that secures just about any project with minimum surface contact. The X-Mat Deluxe Kit 1 includes all the essentials you need to use the X-Mat system, plus an assortment of X-Mat accessories that aid in completing difficult holding tasks. Add additional accessories to create your ideal customized workholding station.

Each Mat is molded from super-tuff, chemical resistant resin. The squares fit tightly together with interlocking dovetail-shaped keys. Each X-Mat has 36 “X” shaped sockets for optimum flexibility in positioning all your X-Mat accessories.

The X-Mat Strips are 2" x 12" and can be used to securely fastened an assembly of mats to a workbench or piece of plywood.  They are ideal for attaching an X-Mat assembly to a bench top or piece of plywood for repeated use.

The X-Mat L-Supports are perfect for holding larger pieces firmly in place. The sturdy and durable 3 ½” wide by 5” long L-Shaped brackets are formed from reinforced polycarbonate, making them virtually indestructible. The 4” tall face allows them to give optimum holding power even on large parts. The base is slotted to allow 2” of travel to easily accommodate virtually any cabinet size. Once positioned, the L-Support is easily clamped in place using its comfort grip knob.

The X-Mat Fingers are cleverly designed to allow you to elevate large or small projects securely with very littl surface contact.  The fingers anchor securely into the "X" shaped holes in the mat to prevent any slipping or shifting.  Use the finger individually to cradle small parts and keep them in place.  Use several fingers to lift large projects like cabinet doors or drawers off the mat for finishing.  No more waiting for one side to dry before finishing the other.  The chemical resistint mat means that no finish, not even wood glue, will stick to the  X-mats.
