These chamfer router bits are designed to cut the edge of a part or panel at an angle. Many people and manufacturers use the terms 'bevel' and 'chamfer' interchangeably however they are technically different as shown in the image. The router bits in this category are mainly meant to chamfer a portion of the edge but can be used to bevel the entire edge if used with a template.
