Woodpecker Model 641 and 851, 6" and 8" Precision Woodworking Squares with wall mountable case, 1/16 inch graduations. Made in U.S.A. This Combo set includes the handy 6" Precision Square that's just small enough to easily tuck away in your shop apron and the 8" Precision Square that you'll love for bench use.

The 6" and 8" long Squares are each machined from a solid piece of extremely stable and durable cast aluminum tool plate using state-of-the-art CNC equipment, resulting in single-piece blades and handle squares.  The quality of the material combined with the state-of-the-art equipment and a meticulous manufacturing process ensure that these Squares are accurate within a tolerance of .001 inches or less along the full length of the tool.

The solid precision square blades are then sandwiched between two pieces of precision-machined aluminum to form the cheeks of the handle.  These two pieces are fastened to the blades using 2 stainless steel dowel pins to ensure complete rigidity and perfect alignment. 

The blades of the squares are 1/4" thick and the handles are 3/4" thick making it easy to stand the blades upright and effortlessly check the square on your table saw blade, jointer fence, band saw blade, or other machinery set-up operations.  It also makes checking the square on your casework parts a breeze.

There is a small notch milled into the inside corner of both squares to allow you to "zero-out" your layout line all the way to the edge of your work.  Both sides of the blades feature easy to read measurement scales laser etched in 1/16th increments.  These squares are built so well and made so exactingly, they come with a lifetime manufacturer's guarantee to stay square to within .001" or Woodpeckers will repair or replace it upon return and inspection.
