Wiha 32668 - Vinyl Grip Slide Lock Adjustable Pliers 1.5X10 DIN ISO 8976. Super fast and easily adjusted pliers. Long durability achieved through additional induction hardening of jaws to approx. 56 HRC. Finger jam protection for safe operation in all settings. Chromevanadium tool steel, hardened and tempered. Soft vinyl grips.
CVM or Chrome-Vanadium-Molybdenum steel is a special, high strength, high performance alloy. Chromium improves wear resistance, hardness and corrosion resistance. Vanadium also improves the grain structure for a tougher tool. Molybdenum improves impact resistance as well as increases tensile strength and elasticity to prevent tool breakage and snapping.
