Rabbeting router bits create a groove or "rabbet" along one edge of a panel, enabling another panel to be joined at 90 degrees. Rabbets may be run completely from one end to the other or stopped short (known as a blind rabbet) to create the illusion of a butt-joint. By varying the bearing size and router depth virtually any size panels can be joined. Choose a complete rabbet bit set or a single size to meet your needs. |
