Popular Tools Panel Saw Blades are designed for use on wood panel saws for cutting MDF, particle board, laminates, and bonded materials. All Popular Tools panel saw blades are made with SuperMicro-Sheen C-11 sub-micron carbide for longer tool life.

Machine applications listed are only a guideline. All Popular Tools wood panel saw blades have a 10 degree hook angle.

You can use a matching scoring blade along with the main blade to keep material from chipping at the bottom.  Make sure the main blade and the scoring blade are held in precise alignment to each other and are turning in opposite directions.  Also, as you need to sharpen the main blade, be sure to make adjsutments to your scoring saws so that they will still match the kerf of the main blade after sharpenings.  This can be done by adjusting the depth of cut or removing spacers depending on wether you are using a scoring saw or a split scoring saw with your main blade.
