USE:

These tooth styles are used mainly for cutting metals such as aluminum, brass, and copper. Other materials such as particleboard, hardboard, and high pressure laminates are also cut.  The chips are smaller and of uniform width. This is a quiet and stable saw both in and out of the cut.
