Product Description

1/16 x 18” long rods 3 sticks per pack

These easy to use  flux coated rods are made in the right here in the  U.S.A. They are conveniently self-coated rods that are great for hard to reach braze joints , where you may have difficulty inserting flux. We use them for brazing steel and other ferrous metals

The Braze alloy (silver solder, High temp silver solder) - 56% Silver, is an industry standard and is Cadmium free. Recommended braze temperature range is 1205°F - 1400°F. This alloy meets AWS specifications for a BAg-7 brazing filler metal. This low-melting silver alloy is easy to use with good flow and wetting properties for a high strength bond in applications that include food equipment where cadmium must be avoided. This 56 % silver alloy is also helpful for minimizing stress corrosion and cracking of nickel, or nickel-base alloys at low brazing temperatures. The color of this alloy is a good match on stainless steel.
