Product Description
Wiha 32663 - Vinyl Grip Adjustable Pliers Box Type 2X12 5745. 10 different opening sizes provide optimal adjustment to objects being gripped. Long durability achieved through additional induction hardening of jaws to approx. 58-60 HRC. Chrome-vanadium tool steel, hardened and tempered. Soft vinyl grips are oil and solvent resistant.
CVM or Chrome-Vanadium-Molybdenum steel is a special, high strength, high performance alloy. Chromium improves wear resistance, hardness and corrosion resistance. Vanadium also improves the grain structure for a tougher tool. Molybdenum improves impact resistance as well as increases tensile strength and elasticity to prevent tool breakage and snapping.
