Northland 83361 - Taper Tap, Size 5/16-18 NC, Pkg of 5
Taper Taps are used for hand tapping in tough materials. They have a 7-10 thread chamfer at the tip which makes starting threads easier than other tap geometries. These Taper Taps are made from Carbon Steel.
*Please note that Carbon Steel Taper Taps are not recommended for machine tapping.
