Q: Hi, Trying to gather all the information on these heat induction machines, plan on doing hundreds of these Sandvic retips for my grinders and rather not mess with a torch. There's a cheaper China model 15 kw high frequency induction heater 30-80 kHz that gets good reviews. Will it work for this? Thanks for any info.

A: We would recommend any of our black brazing fluxes. Our purified flux and our Mega flux have both gone through extra processing to filter out any small particles or impurities.

Q: Would a hand held propane tank/torch like you can purchase at any hardware store get my sandvik "Carlton" sump grinder teeth hot enough for brazing new tips on the teeth, or do I need a shop type of setup with propane and oxygen to bring the materials up to the required temperature for brazing on new carbide?

A: Good Day - The parts will need to get to about 1500 degrees all the way through. If you only have a a couple to do , it will work . You may look up a local welding supply store for a better option if you are doing more than 1 or 2 parts.
