Cove & Bead Router Bits

Cove and Bead Router Bits combine one or more concave radii (cove) with one or more convex radii (bead). There are numerous combinations possible with these 2 curves and while similar to the familiar Ogee "S" shape, the two curves on cove and bead profiles are generally separated by some other feature. Besides the generic "Cove and Bead" or "Bead and Cove" names, pretty much any router bit with the word 'Classic' or 'French' fall into this category.
