Northland 83397 - Plug Tap, Size 2-56 NC, Pkg of 5

Plug Taps are used for tapping either thru holes or blind holes where threads do not need to extend completely to the bottom of the hole. These plug taps are made from Carbon Steel and typically have a 3-5 chamfer at the tip.

*Please note that carbon steel plug taps are not recommended for machine tapping.
