Wiha 31345 - Insulated Socket 6 Point 1/4 Drive 9/16. Insulation according to ASTM F-1505-01, DIN 7448 specification, up to 1000 Volt. Individually Tested. Chrome-vanadium steel, forged, oil-hardened. *Sockets must be used with insulated ratchets & extensions

CVM or Chrome-Vanadium-Molybdenum steel is a special, high strength, high performance alloy. Chromium improves wear resistance, hardness and corrosion resistance. Vanadium also improves the grain structure for a tougher tool. Molybdenum improves impact resistance as well as increases tensile strength and elasticity to prevent tool breakage and snapping.
