Al-Braze 1070 Kit has everything you need for small aluminum to aluminum brazing jobs. This kit includes 1070 wire and powdered flux to create corrosion-resistant joints. 

*Not recommended for brazing aluminum directly to non-aluminum alloys*

Kit Specifications:

1070 Wire

.75oz, 1/16 solid aluminum wire

Melting range: 1070 - 1080°F

Tensile Strength- up to 35,000 psi

Used for torch, dip & furnace brazing

 

Powdered Flux

.33oz powdered aluminum flux

Working range 915 - 1115°F

 

Recommended Brazing Procedure:

- clean brazing area thoroughly 

- remove all plating or anodized finish

- heat the wire & dip into powdered flux for extra coverage

- mix powdered flux with water to make a paste

- use a reducing flame

- keep torch in constant motion

- melt the alloy with the heat from the work piece, not with the torch
