saw mill, rick the wood, air-dry until 8-10%, rip and plane to specs. Few will believe this, but before I bought these blades, I used a rip blade and then a 60-80 tooth cross-cut blade. Now I do not change out the rip blade, but use it (slowly) for my cross cuts. The blades are so sharp they leave fine cuttings like goose down, so thin they blow away on the floor. Rarely do I use a cross-cut blade anymore. I rip around 1000-2000 board feet of hardwoods a year, and sharpen these blades never more often than six months.
I surmise Carbide Processors is a sort of clearinghouse for small shops that manufacture very high grade tools. I do know from my sharpener there are 3-4 grades of carbide and CP puts out the best. SE Tool is no exception with their router bits. Their packaging is second to none.
Kudos on both accounts. I wish you guys would make an assortment of carbide cutter blades for a multi-tool oscillator. The ones I get at the local mega-store aren't worth using, but that is all I can get.
