Bottoming Taps

Triumph ThunderTap® bottoming taps are made from premium high speed steel and are suitable for machine or hand threading in holes that are not drilled completely thru the material (blind holes). Used when you need threads as close to the bottom of the hole as possible.

Bottoming taps typically have a 1-2 thread chamfer at the tip.
